Tom is a fourth-generation Washingtonian, with a love for all things DMV, real estate, and home-related. As a native of the DC region, and a recent first-time homebuyer himself, Tom is uniquely positioned to coach homebuyers through the process. He appreciates the complexities of the DC marketplace and understands the differences and benefits of its beautiful neighborhoods. Tom joined Compass in 2020, bringing his experience and long time expertise in personal and lifestyle coaching and motivational interviewing to the Pam Ryan-Brye Group to further his real estate career. He approaches his role as a buyer's agent with compassion, market insight, and an appreciation for how challenging the home buying process can feel for first time buyers and previous homeowners alike. Using his experience in lifestyle coaching, Tom is able to better understand his client’s motivations and needs, so he can ensure they find a home that suits them in the best way possible.

Tom, his wife, and their two dogs live in Chevy Chase Village and are very active in their community. You can often find them running on the Capital Crescent trail, exploring their neighborhood, and taking their dogs to breweries in Montgomery County. Tom is dedicated to building a referral-based business by delivering exceptional personal service to his clients, both throughout a transaction and whenever his clients have real estate concerns.
