Pam and her team did a tremendous job helping us sell our house in DC. Without Pam's guidance and assistance, the process would have been far more difficult for us, and the result far less satisfying. She was with us every step of the way, providing direct assistance and valuable vendor referrals. We appreciated Pam's practical approach of doing only what would be necessary or useful to marketing the house, rather than suggesting sweeping and expensive changes. Pam is a godsend. We were first-time buyers. We did not have a lot of money to spend but wanted to move to a neighborhood that could easily have been beyond our means. Pam is so committed to crafting "clean" transactions that we had offers accepted on 2 different properties. The first fell through due to defects in the house, but the house we just purchased is PERFECT for me and my family. Pam--and her excellent assistant Dominique--made it happen for us. We engaged Pam Ryan-Brye to act as our agent in the sale of the house we had owned for 27 years. She provided advice, strategy and an attractive staging. Two or three weeks after it was put on the market we were told that several parties were interested in the house (including the ultimate buyer). After appropriate and productive discussions, settlement was held with a very satisfactory price in slightly under two months total elapsed time. We immediately retained Pam to also sell our condominium in a nearby town. To our delight, she carried out this activity with at least a comparable performance.
Pam guided us through the buying and selling process in an extremely competitive market. She prepared our house for sale- minor updates, staging, etc. with hardly any effort on our part. It was under contract, with multiple offers after just a week on the market. Any questions we had were answered quickly and with years of experience to draw from. She was great at checking in with us, and sometimes it felt like she answered questions we didn't even know we had! Living in Chicago and selling our apartment in DC would not have been as effortless or even possible without the incredible help from Pam. She handled every detail including getting old clothing and furniture delivered to organizations where they could be recycled or donated. She managed and coordinated any necessary repairs including finding the contractors, suggested improvements and stayed in touch with us on her progress every step of the way. Finally, her expertise and guidance allowed both sides of our transaction to get the best price and value in the current market. We'd most definitely hire Pam again.
Pam was very helpful in providing all we needed to accomplish the sale of our house long distance. She was able to give us good recommendations of local contractors for the work we needed to have done, oversaw work when we were unable to be there, and explained and helped us through the entire process very well. She was knowledgeable about the various regulations in different jurisdictions that we had to work with. And she even helped us find places to get rid of things we couldn't keep, and recommended good movers for what we kept.
